Following the Supreme Court ruling recently in favor of His Excellency,  Abdullahi Ganduje as the Executive Governor of Kano State, the governor has stated that his victory at the apex court has retired his political mentor and former governor of Kano, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, from active politics.

  • Ganduje went further to affirm that the recent court victory together with the victory of the ruling All Progressive Congress in the just-concluded parliamentary re-run elections in the state is a clear indication that Kwankwaso had been retired from politics.

Recounting that his political exploits have forced his mentor, Kwankwaso to retire from politics. Ganduje made the statement at the government house in Kano when the Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Abdul’aziz Garba-Gafasa, with other principal officers of the house, state APC chairman and other party leaders paid him a visit a courtesy visit.
