Barely few months President Muhammadu Buhari signed the not too young to rule bill into law, the grand patron of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Amb. Eze Ebere has endorsed the President for a second term in office in 2019.
Ebere who paid a visit to the Presidential Villa today conveyed the undiluted support of the Nigerian students for the second term bid of Mr. President to enable him consolidate on the good works he is doing in the country.
According to him, “President Buhari has our unflinching support for a second term in office, because he is doing great things for our country, and another term will help him to consolidate, for the good of Nigeria.
While responding on the visit, the Special Assistant to the President on Media, Femi Adeshina, that President Muhammadu Buhari has done enough to be re-elected in 2019 when the country goes to poll.
It will be recalled that President Buhari on May 31st, signed the “not too young to run” bill into law. The law however, reduces the minimum age for presidential candidates from 40 to 35, and state governors and senators from 35 to 30. The age limit for state assembly will be 25.
The question now is, if a grand Patron of a youth group endorses the incumbent, aged 75, what hope is now left for the Youth to actualize her dream of becoming the President of the country?
